Most deliveries are scheduled within 24–48 hours depending on scheduling, weather, and material availability.
Do you offer free delivery?
Yes. Orders of 15 tons or more qualify for free delivery throughout our service area.

Palmetto Sand & Gravel regularly delivers throughout Spartanburg, Greenville, Cherokee, Laurens, and Union Counties, as well as surrounding Upstate South Carolina communities.
Can I order materials online?

Do you offer customer accounts?

Do I need to order a full truckload?
No. Smaller quantities are available. Delivery fees vary based on the quantity ordered.
Can I schedule multiple truckloads?
Yes. Multiple truckloads can be scheduled for larger residential, commercial, agricultural, and construction projects.
How much material fits in a dump truck?
Most deliveries are made using tri-axle dump trucks that typically carry approximately 20–22 tons of material depending on the material type.

Yes. Sandy loam topsoil is commonly used for lawns, gardens, landscaping projects, and final grading.
What is infield mix used for?
Infield mix is commonly used for baseball fields, softball fields, warning tracks, and sports field construction and maintenance.
What sand should I use under an above-ground pool?
For most above-ground pools, masonry sand (also called mortar sand) is commonly used beneath the pool liner because it can be graded smooth and compacted to create a level surface. The amount needed depends on the size of the pool and the desired sand depth.
How much sand do I need for my pool?

Can I use river sand under a pool liner?
River sand is generally not recommended beneath pool liners because it may contain small stones, organic material, or larger particles that can create an uneven surface. Masonry sand is typically preferred because it is cleaner and can be graded more smoothly.
What type of sand is commonly used for horse arenas?
Many horse arena owners use washed and screened river sand because it can provide good footing and drainage when properly installed. The ideal sand depends on the riding discipline, arena design, drainage requirements, and footing preferences. Can materials be spread with the truck?
Tailgate spreading may be available depending on site conditions, material type, weather, and driver discretion.
Can I choose where the material is dumped?
Customers may request a dump location; however, final placement is subject to site conditions, safety considerations, and driver discretion.
Do you provide grading services?
No. Palmetto Sand & Gravel delivers materials but does not currently provide grading, excavation, or site work services.
Can you deliver to farms and rural properties?
Yes. Deliveries are regularly made to farms, rural properties, homes, businesses, churches, schools, and construction sites throughout our service area.
What happens if weather delays my delivery?
Weather conditions can affect both material availability and site access. If delays occur, customers will be notified and rescheduled as soon as practical.

What payment methods do you accept?
Orders can be placed securely online using major credit cards, debit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Link, Klarna, and other payment methods available during checkout.
Do you offer financing or payment plans?
