Masonry sand, also called mortar sand, is a finely screened, clean sand with a smooth texture that makes it perfect for mixing mortar in brick, block, and stone masonry projects across Spartanburg, Greenville, and the Upstate of South Carolina. Unlike coarser construction sands, mortar sand is uniform in size, easy to spread, and compacts well, giving your masonry work a professional finish. Contractors and homeowners use it not only for mortar mixes but also as a base for pavers, patios, and walkways, or for filling joints between stones and bricks. Its fine, debris-free consistency also makes it popular for playgrounds, leveling yards, and other landscaping applications where a soft, workable surface is needed. At Palmetto Sand & Gravel LLC, we supply high-quality mortar sand by the ton with reliable dump truck delivery throughout Spartanburg, Greenville, Cherokee, and surrounding counties, with free delivery on bulk orders of 15 tons or more, ensuring you get the right material on time and at a competitive price.

The area must be safe for our equipment to maneuver without causing damage to the equipment or putting our driver(s) at risk. Unloading needs to be on a firm area; for example, concrete, asphalt or dried out clear spots with plenty of clearance for us to lift our beds. Also take into consideration that our equipment can reach weights of 34 to 40 tons when fully loaded. Palmetto Sand and Gravel LLC will not be held liable for any damages done to the unloading location caused by extreme weight of our trucks. The customer has agreed to assume all responsibility for any fines, damages, claims, or other liabilities that may arise due to the placement of the materials by Palmetto Sand and Gravel LLC, such as without limitation, placing the materials (i) outside the curb line, (ii) on property belonging to the city or county (including county or city streets), (iii) on private property owned by someone other than the customer, and (iv) obstructing access to a property or entity belonging to any other person. The customer shall take the responsibility to promptly ensure that materials are shifted to their property, besides agreeing that Palmetto Sand and Gravel LLC has no obligation to ensure that materials do not compromise the public right-of-way. Further, the customer shall meet all costs arising from any loss of time incurred by Palmetto Sand and Gravel LLC if the customer is not prepared to receive the material when Palmetto arrives. Buyer fee will be $50 for every 30 minutes wait after the first 30 minutes. There will be no additional fees if a customer asks for us to spread the material from our tailgates; however, we cannot guarantee that it will be a uniform layer since sometimes material gets stuck and or does not come out smoothly.
